For many years I have made it a point to read through the Bible at least once per year. For the past 10 years or so I have used the ESV Daily Reading Bible plan, which has one reading through the NT and Psalms twice, and the balance of the OT once.
This year I have decided to use the new God’s Glory in Salvation Through Judgment reading plan, reading the Bible alongside James Hamilton’s book God’s Glory in Salvation Through Judgment.
Another plan that I have used in the past, and not for the faint of heart is Professor Grant Horner’s plan which has you reading 10 chapters per day.
The important thing, regardless of plan used, is to read the Bible regularly and consistently. There are many ways to do this, and following is a selection of plans to try:

Our Daily Bread (with Daily Bible Reading Plan)
“And he said to me, “Son of man, eat whatever you find here. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me this scroll to eat. And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.” – Ezekiel 3:1-3, ESV
