Beginning Wednesday, April 29th, we will begin a 14 week study of The Mortification of Sin by John Owen. This important work will allow us to grow in our sanctification, something that is sorely missing in 21st century evangelicalism.
Books will be available for $9.00 each. The following page numbers refer to the Banner of Trust Puritan Paperback edition that we will be using, but this work is available in digital format for free in many places on the web, including here and here. (The second link is to a larger work entitled “Overcoming Sin and Temptation” which contains this book as well as two other works by John Owen. I highly recommend the Introduction contained on pages 23-35.)
